Is Fortune building out a sales office for the Varadero development??

    October 29th, 2017

    18801 Collins ave , Sunny Isles Beach , 33160

    — Fortune and Chateau paid $113 million for the 4.7-acre site in November 2014. At the time, it was occupied by the La Playa de Varadero condo-hotel, whose residences the two developers got bought out individually.

The plans were two towers residences with hotel, so I assume once the closings start for the Jade Signature at the end of the year is when the new sales team and development news will roll out…We will see, but the site is definitely getting to get ready…

October 18th is the ground breaking for the Aston Martin residences.

    October 26th, 2017

Aston Martin Residences will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on October 18 after reporting strong sales.

Over $100 million worth of units have already been placed in contract, the developer says. Buyers are responding to the Aston Martin branding, prime location, and a well capitalized developer.

Condo sales are similar to what was reported in June, when the developer said that $100 million worth of units had been sold.

G&G Business Development (the real estate arm of Argentina’s Coto family) is the developer. The project includes 391 units in a 66-story tower.

Missoni Baia is starting construction October 12th!

    October 24th, 2017

777 NE 27 terr Edgewater, Miami

When people speak about Missoni, they tend to refer to “the Missonis”—since the story of the brand is inseparable from the story of the couple. Ottavio was a Dalmatian Olympic champion with a background in sportswear, and Rosita an English student whose family owned an apparel and household linen business. The two met in 1948 and married in 1953. Combining their experiences led to the birth of a company that created one of the finest examples of Italian products: a style that’s absolutely unmistakable for its mélange of colors, stitches, and blended iridescent hues—a style never seen before that soon became known worldwide. In the beginning there were only stripes, since that’s all the machines could produce at the time. But as technology advanced, the couple developed more patterns that grew increasingly original and intricate, until each design became a virtual work of art.

Home is one of Rosita’s greatest passions. Life choices and lifestyles inspire the creative philosophy of Missoni Home, which over the years has expanded beyond fabrics to also include furnishings. Rosita says that she sees her work of furnishing as “creating a habitat that’s organized but also informal, versatile, welcoming, and perhaps most of all, imbued with a sense of freedom.” Made from unusual fabrics and sometimes surprising objects, each piece is meant to complement existing settings, adding a touch of liveliness while also bringing the magic of the outdoors and nature into everyday home life.

The environment needs to be a part of the personal art of entertaining. That has always been a vital principle for the Missoni family, most especially now for Angela Missoni, who with her parents’ same passion for design has brought a very personal style to her own home furnishings. A pleasant atmosphere offering cheerful welcome, with the kind of harmony that makes guests feel at home, is what Angela envisions as the ideal interior. She explains how “the home needs to accommodate all kinds of movement and gatherings: the comings and goings of family members, and times when friends and acquaintances unexpectedly drop in. It’s important to encourage emotion and curiosity, to transform the space into an oasis of colors and moods, a comfortable enclosure that combines both pleasant and surprising elements, allowing for a free flow of ideas.”

Missoni Baia was thoughtfully designed to ensure that its 249 one- to five-bedroom condominium homes, ranging in size from 776 to 3,788 square feet (72 to 352 square meters), all have sweeping views of the city, the bay, Miami Beach, or the Atlantic Ocean.
With its forward-thinking, high-performance design by acclaimed international firm Asymptote Architecture, Missoni Baia’s new luxury Edgewater condos capture the Missoni spirit of innovation and imagination. It’s like no other residential tower in Miami.
Since establishing his firm in 1993, renowned Swiss landscape architect Enzo Enea has completed more than 1,000 gardens for private residences, hotels, resorts, residential buildings, and parks around the world, including projects in Russia, Greece, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, China, Brazil, Colombia, the Bahamas, and the United States. Based near Zürich, the firm opened a second office in Miami in 2005 and is adding a New York office in 2016. Enea’s work has received numerous international awards, including honors from the American Society of Landscape Architects and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London.

Vladislav Doronin and Oleg Baybakov are behind the money for the project and idea.

In the most recent blog I took a picture of the another condo building next to the Biscayne bay soon to be demoed owned by Vladislav, I had also written about his dream about bringing Aman hotel flag into the Miami Beach and its persuit with possible few oceanfront older buidlings that might go down soon.:)

What will happen to this lot in Sunny Isles Beach???

    October 22nd, 2017
The small site was a part of the Estates of Acqualina closing that just took place by Jules Trump.
On the attached picture you can see the parking lot in the back that belonged to the Golden Strand ocean villas condominium that will start getting demolished in December to give way for the brand new Estates of Acqualina developed by Jules Trump, that already has over $500 million worth of reservations for the new super luxury oceanfront development,  not related to the president. He actually won a litigation with Donald regarding the names.

The Trump Group plans to build a two-phase, two-tower luxury condo project on the 5.6-acre property. The developer began acquiring units in the timeshare about five years ago, and bid on the entire site in mid-August. Trump plans to demolish the building this year.
I was just wondering what will happen to this piece of land squeezed between the city hall and Bank of America??

Three Towers Resorts Miami approved to be built by Genting on former Miami Herald site.

    October 19th, 2017
1 Herald Plaza, Miami, FL 33132

The FAA granted approval to Resorts World Miami for a three-tower project on the site where the Miami Herald building once stood.

According to the proposal, each of the three towers would rise to an identical height of 642 feet above ground, or 649 feet above sea level.

FAA review took about five months. The project has not been reviewed yet by city officials or the Urban Development Review Board.

Resorts World Miami still has a separate application pending with the FAA for a 580-foot tower above the county-owned Omni transit terminal.
